Ground shipping within the Continental United States (excluding Alaska & Hawaii) for individual orders over $500 is free up to 50 pounds; free for up to 250 pounds if the order is over $1,000; and free for up to 500 pounds if the order is over $1,500. Engineered Source will charge the customer for the shipment of any excess weight as follows:
UPS Package Shipments: customer to pay the difference in the cost of shipping the final shipment weight from the free shipping weight limit as calculated by the UPS WorldShip Application
LTL/Truck Freight Shipments: $.25 per excess pound shipped
Engineered Source uses UPS exclusively for all package shipments under 100 pounds, unless otherwise directed by the customer. Shipments weighing over 100 pounds are typically shipped with an LTL carrier of our choice unless the customer prefers a specific third party.
-CANADA & MEXICO SHIPMENTS-
Due to the involvement of duties and taxes we are unfortunately not currently offering a free shipping program for Canada & Mexico. Shipments to Canada & Mexico are therefore processed using the customer’s collect UPS/Fedex/DHL account number. The customer’s border forwarding agent, when available, is used as a noted party on all shipping paperwork. All shipping, duty and tax related costs are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Free shipping exclusions: any items exceeding 30″ in length/height/width, items requiring any climate or temperature controls, items containing hazardous materials or components, fragile parts requiring special packaging or handling, and any flammable items. Free shipping for shipments under 100 pounds only applies to UPS shipments.
