We supplied these Class 12.9 custom shoulder bolts to our aftermarket automotive OEM customer. The shoulder measures M8 X M6 and the thread is set to M6 X 1.0. Production typically runs in batches of 10,000 pieces per run and the finish is thermal black oxide. Full certs are available with the parts upon request.
Large quantities of these class 12.9 custom shoulder screws would be best supplied on a 12 month blanket purchase order basis. The Blanket Order concept allows the customer to access the large quantity cost savings without paying upfront for the entire large quantity order. Instead we take on the burden of carrying the bulk inventory and only release the parts as needed, or often on a pre-scheduled basis provided by the customer.
