We supply a number of custom PVDF dowel pins like this 1/16 X .415 version to a customer that deals largely with water treatment applications.  Together with a variety of other custom hardware parts we supply, this custom pin is provided on an annual blanket as-released purchase order basis.  We try to maintain a minimum 6 month supply to provide our customer optimal flexibility.  The Blanket Order concept allows the customer to access the large quantity cost savings without paying upfront for the entire large quantity order. Instead we take on the burden of carrying the bulk inventory and only release the parts as needed, or often on a pre-scheduled basis provided by the customer.
